Jesus is the Christ

Matthew 1:1, 16, 17, 18

The word "Christ" comes from the Hebrew word for "Messiah," which literally means "the anointed one." In the Old Testament, this is a reference to the promised King of Israel who would come to establish God's kingdom on earth and reign over all nations. Matthew wants us to know that this Jesus is the long awaited Messiah. The king has arrived! The Messiah is born! This is reason to celebrate with much joy and thanksgiving, and this is why Christians around the world love to sing about the birth of King Jesus.

A law that allows a child to divorce his parents?

I saw a show on TV discussing a possibility for a BILL or a LAW on divorce . At first I thought the anchor man was referring between a husband and wife relationship so I just ignored it. When I heard that it was about a child and parent relation , I was shocked. Any legislature that would pass this bill is insane and totally unacceptable! A child.. eveb if he ia already an adult haa no right to cut ties with his parent. This in unbiblical and would cause a lot of trouble. I know there are kids who grow up with parents who are frightening, abusive, neglectful, shaming or exploitative but having a divorce is not a solution and can never be a solution. Is this really true or the TV show is just making an issue.
